My dear colleagues, dear customers and dear suppliers,

Reinventing ourselves, surpassing ourselves, innovating to constantly satisfy our customers, this has always been the guiding principle of the GPC Group's development.

Today, I am delighted that this development, which began 65 years ago, can benefit from a new impetus in its progress with a promising handover between two generations. Because the love story between the Carriers, logistics and transport, goes further today. It is a great pleasure for me to know that all the projects, dreams, and ambitions that I have been able to nurture for the future of GPC will find an extension and, I hope, a spectacular surpassing with Michaël's accession to the general management of the Group.

It is also a source of pride as a father, of course, and a great personal satisfaction to see my son take up a torch, a role, a profession, of which he has learned to appreciate all the difficulty but also the human nobility. I am pleased that logistics still has great assets to attract hardworking and determined young people. Are there not other sectors, a priori more trendy, more glamorous, that attract them first? For Michaël, it only took a summer job, at the age of 18, to know that this was the path he would follow and take the helm of this wonderful company that the GPC Logistics Group has become some twenty years later.

I was very proud to see Michaël pass his professional competence certificate in road freight transport and commission agent, which demonstrated his desire to one day become a company manager. But it was by gaining concrete experience in the field that he earned my respect. Any manager who loves their company inevitably feels reassured when they find a successor capable of impressing them.

Our new Managing Director will have trained in all disciplines by working in all departments. From road transport operations to customer relations, including administrative management of operations, management of the heavy goods vehicle garage, purchasing, planning of the mining department, IT, management and organization... I think it's safe to say that he knows the GPC Group like the back of his hand! He's got them all in the grease.

I will therefore not try to convince you with words that my son is the best leader for our company. It is useless. I know that the future will prove it in practice. I will therefore have only one formula to describe him and recommend him to you, as I did at the beginning: Michaël is one of us! He loves our work and will defend our values ​​with passion.

I sincerely hope that you will experience your best GPC years with him.
