GPC logistics handles road transport for Auchan, can you tell us more about this collaboration?
GPC Logistics is our longest-standing carrier, so we have a well-established partnership with them. GPC Logistics handles the road transport of non-food products for Auchan to the stores in Illkirch, Strasbourg, and Schweighouse. On-site, the carrier also assists with unloading. We work with GPC Logistics daily, as at least one delivery truck must depart each day. During peak periods, up to three GPC trucks per day are deployed to ensure transport. On average, each truck carries between 20 and 25 pallets, but this can increase to 33 pallets. Auchan's non-food business is highly volatile and seasonal, so we need to regularly adjust the number of shipments and plan accordingly.
