    AEO certification and customs security

    In terms of safety and security , the subsidiary GPC Logistic & Overseas is an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certified company under certificate number FR AEOF 00165335 , succeeding Stralog Transports, which was one of the first French companies to obtain this certification in October 2009 under number FR 00000063.     The site benefits from enhanced procedures, such as maintaining a visitor entry and exit log . Each visitor is registered upon arrival, specifying the arrival time and the person visited, thus ensuring rigorous and secure monitoring of movements within the company.

    This approach reflects GPC Logistics & Overseas' commitment to maintaining high security standards while facilitating customs operations, thus ensuring a safe working environment that complies with international standards.

    Computer security and alarm systems

    GPC Logistics ensures the security of its sites with a high-performance intrusion alarm system . In the event of an alarm activation, a monitoring center is immediately alerted and contacts the on-call person . If this person cannot be reached, a protocol is activated: the monitoring center notifies one of the site managers, according to a predefined order of contact . If no one answers, a security officer is automatically dispatched to the site for a rapid response.

    In terms of information management, GPC Logistics uses the WMS Infolog and ITEM Stock software , perfectly suited to its logistics services. Access to these systems is strictly limited to users with a personal access code . Each user can only view data relating to their own clients, thus ensuring information confidentiality . Access monitoring and allocation are supervised by the network administrator , guaranteeing rigorous data control and IT security.

    Data protection and fire safety

    In terms of data protection , GPC Logistics has implemented a daily backup system that copies information to a secondary server, located remotely from the data center, to ensure data security and redundancy in the event of a disaster. A robust firewall is used to prevent unauthorized or malicious access. Furthermore, the network administrator continuously monitors the systems to prevent any risk of hacking or data leaks.

    In terms of infrastructure safety , the Troyes Lavau logistics platform is equipped with a sprinkler system , compliant with the operating permit under sections 1510 and 1511. This fire protection system undergoes weekly inspections by qualified personnel. In addition, the platform is equipped with fire doors , fire extinguishers , smoke vents , and a fire hose reel system (FHR) , all meeting current standards. These safety devices are also subject to periodic inspections to ensure their proper functioning.

    Video surveillance, access control and maintenance

    GPC Logistics is enhancing site security with a video surveillance system covering visitor and vehicle entrances and exits , as well as building interiors. This system can be customized to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring a high level of protection.

    Inside the storage buildings, access is strictly controlled by a personal, electronic badge , reserved exclusively for management personnel. Any unauthorized person must be accompanied by a supervisor to enter these areas. Furthermore, to ensure the safety of employees and visitors, wearing a safety vest and safety shoes is mandatory inside the warehouses.

    Regarding infrastructure maintenance, technical managers oversee maintenance operations carried out by contracted companies. This includes the maintenance of air conditioning , heating , sanitation , handling equipment , loading dock doors , intrusion detection systems , video surveillance , and fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, sprinklers, fire doors, smoke vents). Rigorous monitoring is conducted, including thermography and inspection of electrical installations.
