    The GPC Logistic & Overseas subsidiary is also member of IATA, theAssociation IInternational Ttransport Aérien and benefits from the CASS (Cargo AaccountSsettlementSsystems). As a result, the air transport subsidiary is recognized as reliable by all international companies.

    Since June 28, 2019, the GPC Logistic & Overseas subsidiary has been certified OEA (Ooperator Éeconomic Arigged) under the certificate number FR AEOF 00165335, to succeed Stralog Transports, following the split, which was one of the first French companies to be certified as an AEO in October 2009. This is a trusted certification for customs operations carried out throughout the Community. This title grants certain advantages throughout the European Union as well as internationally. AEOs thus benefit from simplifications in customs clearance operations and facilities relating to customs controls upon entry and exit from the Community.

    As part of monitoring the quality of our installations and their various equipment, the technical managers ensure the control of the various maintenance companies which intervene under contract for the upkeep and maintenance of the sites: air conditioning, heating, sanitation, handling trolleys, dock doors, leveling docks, anti-intrusion systems, video surveillance, fire extinguishers, armed fire networks, sprinklers, fire doors, smoke extraction hatches, thermography and control of electrical installations, etc.

    Environment

    Since September 2010, the GPC logistics group has been involved in CO reduction2 at the level of its road transport activity. Various actions have been implemented:

    • Training drivers in rational driving,
    • Individual monitoring of vehicle consumption,
    • Route optimization,
    • The installation of smooth-bed trailers to optimize loading in order to reduce the carbon footprint,
    • The acquisition of traffic aid tools,
    • Rigorous monitoring of the tire fleet,
    • The gradual renewal of the road fleet...

    The Troyes logistics platform is fully equipped with a watering system that complies with the operating permit under the headings 1510 and 1511. Every week, this facility is checked by trained and authorized personnel. It is also equipped with fire doors, fire extinguishers, smoke extraction hatches and RIA (Armed Fire Network) complying with the current standard and also subject to periodic inspections.

    In its environmental approach, GPC logistics strives to sort the waste at its various sites to facilitate recycling and reduce the carbon footprint. A whole waste sorting platform has been created in Troyes. In Molsheim, the group recently invested to replace all lighting with Energy-efficient LEDs the local suppliersare also favored in order to minimize the carbon footprint. In terms of packaging, eco-friendly supplies Chips and Kraft type are also priority.
